Tool Shed and Tilted Tiny House is a 9X12 watercolor I painted while parked on the side of a gravel road just west of Rosebush Michigan. There is an unfinished painting on the back but due to the high quality of the archival paper and paints, cannot be seen.
This painting’s subject matter deals with storage in Mid Michigan Farm country. Some people may consider these structures an eyesore but I find them appealing. With the backdrop of beautiful farm country, the shapes, the way the weather affects the wood and metal, and the hidden stories they may tell is why I love painting in the country.
