A white pine framing a barn with it’s trunk and horizontal limbs. This reproduction is keyed a bit brighter than the original.
I painted “White Pine, Framing a Barn”, on a lovely, cool, clear blue Saturday afternoon in early November. Location is in Michigan’s Isabella County along a dirt road. There wasn’t much traffic, a few trucks and one Amish buggy but no one stopped to see what I was doing. The light had changed so much and it was getting late so I finished it up in the studio.
